So yup, I joined my very first stamp club a few weeks ago. Unity has this great “stamp of the week” club. It makes me so happy to get that little brown envelope every single week. Even if I don’t have time to play. I can still dream.
I just got my owl in the mail the other day. I couldn’t help but ink that one up. It’s one thing to draw it….a complete other deal to stamp it.
Anyhoo, here’s my card. Thanks for stopping by to peek
I was ITCHING to get sketchy yesterday and decided to check out GET SKETCHY after seeing Laura’s fabulous card.
Here’s what I came up with using my UNITY STAMPS – used my WINGED HEART stamp – the LOVE stamp is retired (sadly enough – I really LOVE it!) – stamped some of the pieces over with distress ink and the dictionary stamp, “Giving it all Meaning”.
Also included a piece of a retro sewing pattern bought from the thrift store.
Thanks for coming to look!
It’s the FIRST FRIDAY FRIENDS WITH FLAIR at Unity!!
Here’s my card…I used the fishies from Hodgepodge of Happiness.
Have fun visiting all the fabulous friends today
Today’s Wednesday Challenge was picked by…..ME!
I was feeling a little “blue” from my unsuccessful craft show on Saturday, so I called upon my Unity girls to cheer me up.
So you can cheer me up too Make a card for a CHILD and use PRIMARY colours (red, yellow and blue).
I used Mix Up of Cuteness, Distressed Dots background and some plain old cardstock.
The heart is grungeboard inked with SU craft ink.
Don’t forget to link up your cards in the Challenge Thread HERE and use the keywords Unity and USC11.
COLOUR ME HAPPY!! HIP HOP HOORAY!
I got a VERY good box of Unity goodness in the mail yesterday, and these cute little guys finally made it home….and only a BIT late for Halloween.
This is my take on the Unity Challenge Wednesday this week….

Here’s mine. I used the Love Builds a Home single. I had a little trouble with the “clear” element and am not too happy with those Making Memories clear flowers….but whatever
Enjoy your day!
Couple more cards to post before the weekend, which is gearing up to be a CRAZY ONE!!
Tonight, I’m taking the 2 oldest girls to a sleepover in the city, popping by hubby’s work (he’s on the evening shift this week) to have a steak and potato barbeque with the other 2 kids…..tomorrow the boy has a hockey practice, then we’re going to pick up the girls, practice some last minute stuff for the massive craft sale we’re singing at (Christmas songs in October. Fun.) coming home, church on Sunday morning, quick bite to eat, hockey game for boy on Sunday afternoon and hockey meeting in the evening.
Hope you enjoy these! The first one is some yet to be released stamps (January 09) from Odd Bird Planet and the second one is a Unity Challenge card made with Tiny Trinity.
Have a super weekend!
