THANK YOU Paper Crafts Magazine.
You gave each one of us so so very much.

I appreciate each opportunity you gave me.

I am honoured to have worked with such an amazing group of people.

I am STILL blessed by the people that you allowed me to connect with.

Thinking of you all as you move forward to new adventures.
THANKS for making me smile in those memorable moments of being a part of your team.

Going Places

My oldest daughter got her driver’s license! Excited for her – and for the upcoming school year, now that she’s graduated, turned 18 and heading on to big adventures.

I made her a card – using Going Places (from the NEWLY created Memory Keeper’s Studio stamp line) – to congratulate her…

Going Places

… cause she’ll certainly be going places from this point on.

Happy weekending to you!

I laughed to myself as I typed the title for this post. We are finally having some spring weather this week! It’s been a long wait.

I’m here with the folks from CardMaker magazine on a fantastic hop.
Since I’m more in a spring-like mood than a summer mood, I’ve got some super cute little chickies to share with you today.

Stamps are from Technique Tuesday: Chickadees and Rah-Rah Sentiments. Super quick and easy, but that’s how I roll these days!

Hope you have time to finish off the hop – you’ll see some amazing cards along the way!

Your next stop is at Kristie Hartfeil’s blog: http://krismybliss.wordpress.com/
And the WHOLE hop list is after my card. Thanks for coming by and enjoy the hop!

April Greenhouse

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching! One thing I love about Technique Tuesday’s Greenhouse stamps is that they are so versatile.

The sentiments can be mixed and matched.

The images lend themselves to a variety of colouring abilities. I think I painted each of these in about 2 minutes. And you can get fancy and techniquey, but it’s not essential.

So here are my 2 cards. I hope they give you a little sunshine and happiness today (especially if you’re still waiting for spring, like I am!)

Enjoy your week!

Congrats! Please contact me with your mailing address and I will ship those out to you 🙂

Happy weekend everyone!

Awhile ago, I had posted some stamps up for grabs from My Favourite Things.

WELL, the winner didn’t contact me, so we’ll try again!

Here’s what’s up for grabs – I’ll be drawing a winner next week. Stay Tuned! (And see the “rules” below).

Pure Innocence Bedtime Story

Inspired by Winter

All stamps by My Favorite Things. The second two are current, the first one I can’t find on the MFT site, but it’s going for 10 bucks on ebay, LOL!

They can all be yours FREE if:

1. You live in the US or Canada.

2. You follow me (bwah hahah) on a feed reader or by email (right hand sidebar).

3. You leave a comment on this blog post telling me about how you follow me in #2.

Valentine Fun!

It’s February. I can hardly even believe how fast January went!
I was playing with some Valentines ideas today – this cutie snowman caught my eye as I was looking through my stamp stash!

I decided to make these little cards like the classic foldable “close it up with a sticker” kind that my kids used to like sending to their classmates.

The snowman came from the “Good to Snow” set.

I made the little seals using the “Fun Flair” set and some repositional glue.

Thanks for stopping by!

This pretty peony set is now shipping! Pick up your very own at the Technique Tuesday website.Image

I absolutely love peonies. They remind me of my first home.

And I really love this peony stamp!! I found it so easy to play with – if you take a close look, you’ll notice that the shading is already mostly done for you and it’s super simple to colour up a pretty image.

Peony - Greenhouse Society

They are shipping next weekend – you can pre-order yours HERE at the Technique Tuesday site.

Here’s a card I did up with the set. Thanks for coming by to look!

Well, it appears that time has flown. Really really really fast.

Working full time sure changes things. Family (and eating and wearing clean clothes) takes priority and leaves little time for all else!

December’s Greenhouse stamps are out and shipping! It’s a pretty one that reminds me of the holidays.

Here’s a couple of projects done up with this beauty – get the set while it lasts!
