May Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on today’s hop! I’m so excited to be joining this month with the Studio AE crew! A huge thanks to Technique Tuesday for having me here 🙂

The team is sharing projects from this month’s Studio AE set – Simple Joy by Ali Edwards.

I decided to do something I haven’t done in awhile and make a book mark. The set is so usable for every day life types of projects. Love that.

Here are the rest of the stops on the hop…..make sure you comment along the way…..the prize details are at the end of this post.

Here’s my card. I used the SUPER CUTE Bird’s and Bees set for my card. I also created the circle embellishment using the spring tree top from Tree-mendous – doesn’t it make the cutest little background? The sentiment came from this month’s Greenhouse Society set (I have a feeling this “Happy Birthday” will become a favourite!).

THANKS so much for joining us on our hop today! GOOD LUCK, and don’t forget to check back on May 3rd to see if you’re the lucky winner!

The “Blooming” Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello!
Welcome to the “Blooming” Technique Tuesday blog hop.
The Stamping Techs are blog hopping again, sharing projects we made with some of TT’s newest Flower stamps. You can find them all in the Nature section of Technique Tuesday’s Web site.

For my card, I used Carefree Cosmo which YOU can win on the hop today! I played around with the stamping a bit, and ended up embossing it with white embossing powder, colouring it with TT’S watercolour crayons, painting it with some Shimmerz spray and stamping over the whole thing with permanent black ink (slightly off, so the white shows a bit).

Be sure to check out the blogs of everyone taking part in today’s blog hop:

a tag for mar 23

It’s funny how often I start making a card for a specific purpose and end up with something completely unintended. Like this one. I’m sure that happens to a lot of us!

I think I’ve said this before, but I never seem to have guy items in my card stash. So I’m always last minute panicking. So when I DO manage a guy card I like, I’m always happy.

This turned into a tag (equally ok!), with stamps from various Ali Edwards sets, my “goto” polka dots from  Passion for Polka and the bike from All Aboard.

Thanks for coming by to visit!

a card for feb 25

Hey ho 🙂

Today I’ve used my favourite butterfly from Wingin’ It (stamped on felt and spray inked), the numbers from Let’s Call it a Date and a birthday sentiment from Happy Birthday.

That fabulous paper is from Simple Stories. Thanks for popping by!

a card for feb 24

Back again with another quick card…..

This one uses Fabulous (again!) by Ali Edwards. I just love how versatile this set is. And those butterflies….swoon.

I was going to share about the spattered background, but I think I might save that easy technique to share with you another time!

Have a FABULOUS day!

a trio of minis for feb 21

I made these for an upcoming TT challenge that will be posted soon on the blog (stay tuned for details!).

Teri challenged us to create something based on this super cute photo…..

I totally loved the colour scheme of this sweet guy and came up with these 3×3 minis:

(stamps used: Chit Chat, Make a Splash and Monsters Ink (the sentiment))

a card for feb 19

Stamps used: Fabulous (flowers); Out of this World and Amazing (sentiments) – all by Technique Tuesday. Coloured with TT’s watercolour crayons.

Thanks for coming to visit!

Tuesday Trigger

It’s been AGES since I’ve played along with the Tuesday Trigger! What a fun thing to have a little creative time to play. Finally!

Here’s the trigger for this week:

And here`s my interpretation – inspired by the colours of those gorgeous blossoms. I used Fabulous by Ali Edwards and Talking in Circles (retiring, but still available if you want to snag it!), both by Technique Tuesday.

Thanks for coming by!
